Hi my name is Brandy. I specialize in working with clients in crisis
I believe every person has a story worth hearing and inherent strengths worth uncovering. I am committed to culturally humble, authentic care and to meeting you exactly where you are whether you feel overwhelmed, hopeful, exhausted, curious, or somewhere in between. Together, we will build resilience, strengthen your coping skills, and help you reconnect with the parts of yourself that feel steady, capable, and strong.
Have you been feeling lost and overwhelmed? You are probably here because you struggle with anxiety, trouble sleeping, feeling down and hopeless, maybe having nightmares and flashbacks of stressful events or you lost someone important and are struggling to cope with grief. All that sounds like a lot to deal with alone so It is good that you are here. This a great step towards your mental health and healing process.
As a licensed professional counselor, I believe prioritizing mental health is key to happiness and stability in life. Seeking help can be one of the hardest parts, so congratulations on taking that step! I enjoy working with individuals 15-50 years of age who want to take control of their lives and are struggling with issues such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, or adjusting to new changes.
John Gillespie is a dedicated Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) providing individual and group counseling in Houston, TX. He earned his Master’s degree from the Warden School of Social Work at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, and though he trained across Texas, he proudly calls Houston home.

Over the years, I’ve worked across California, Illinois, Louisiana, and Texas—supporting clients in educational, clinical, and community settings. My approach integrates emotional intelligence, faith-informed insight, and practical strategies for growth.

Hi, I’m Charity, and I specialize in helping individuals who are navigating anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. I use a solution-focused therapy approach that emphasizes your strengths and the progress you’re already making, even when it may feel hard to see. I also incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based practices to help you stay grounded, build self-awareness, and manage stress in healthier, more intentional ways.
I believe that therapy should be collaborative, empowering, and tailored to you. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or just unsure of where to go next, we’ll work together to identify clear, achievable goals and take meaningful steps toward the life you want.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m a proud parent of four amazing kids, ages 17, 10, 10, and 2. My youngest is on the autism spectrum, which has deepened my understanding of neurodiversity, parenting stress, and the importance of flexibility and compassion. When I’m not working or parenting, I love attending comic cons and trying new foods, whether that’s a new local spot or a dish I’ve never made before.
If you’re looking for a supportive, down-to-earth therapist who will help you focus on what’s possible (not just what’s painful), I’d be honored to work with you. At this time I do not provide couples counseling.
