Clients should know that I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with specialized training and experience working with trauma, depression, and anxiety.
I believe in a person-centered approach, meaning therapy is tailored to your unique needs, strengths, and goals. Whether you are facing overwhelming emotions, seeking new coping tools, or exploring personal growth, I walk alongside you with empathy and respect to support your journey toward healing and well-being.
My goal is to empower you with practical strategies and insights while fostering self-compassion and resilience. Together, we will create a collaborative, supportive partnership that honors your experience and helps you move forward with renewed hope.
Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas with nearly 10 years of experience working with diverse populations in various settings. My background in psychology and social work has allowed me to work in private practices, nonprofit organizations, K-12 schools, and government welfare agencies. I have provided mental health counseling to adolescents, teens, young adults, and seniors.
As a California LPCC (#21531) and Texas LPC (#92064), I bring experience from psychiatric hospitals, community mental health, and one of the nation's largest health systems. My approach combines CBT, EMDR, and attachment theory to help clients build resilience, improve relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change.
I work with adults, executives, children, teens, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, relationship challenges, grief, and life transitions. I especially enjoy helping high-achieving professionals navigate the demands of leadership without sacrificing the relationships that matter most.
Clients describe me as calm, direct, and easy to talk to. I create a safe, judgment-free space while challenging clients to think deeply, examine unhelpful patterns, and take practical steps toward meaningful change. My goal is to help you move forward—not stay stuck.
After decades of leading teams, mentoring professionals, and building relationships, I realized my greatest fulfillment came from helping people grow. Becoming a therapist allows me to combine life experience with clinical training to help clients navigate challenges, strengthen relationships, and create lasting change.
I believe therapy should have a clear purpose and measurable outcomes. Together, we'll develop SMART goals, monitor progress throughout treatment, and ensure you leave therapy with the skills and confidence to continue thriving long after our work together is complete.
You might look like you’re holding it all together, but inside feel overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of who you are right now and that can be exhausting. I work with teens, young adults, and women navigating big transitions and all the feelings that come with them. I offer a warm, supportive space where you can exhale, be honest, and start making sense of things. Together, we’ll help you feel more grounded, confident, and work on growing into your next chapter.
If your child is having big feelings, behavior changes, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, depression, or challenges in relationships, you may be feeling overwhelmed and unsure what to do next. I work with young children, adolescents, and caregivers to help children feel more connected, understood, and supported. My specialty is early childhood mental health, with a focus on children from birth to age 12. I use play therapy, sandtray therapy, EMDR, and parent support to help children process difficult experiences, build emotional regulation, and strengthen relationships at home.
I have spent more than 25 years supporting young children and caregivers in settings focused on development, behavior, attachment, and trauma. Over the past several years, I have also served as a Mental Health Consultant, providing assessment-informed interventions and therapeutic support grounded in Child-Centered Play Therapy. My work is warm, relationship-focused, and developmentally appropriate. My goal is to help children and families feel safe, supported, and able to move toward healing.
I believe everyone has the capacity to heal. My own therapy helped me to trust in myself and others and I strive to build this trust with you.
My communication style is warm and direct as I first hear your story and then help you slow down. Together we’ll work to understand your emotions. Joy, anger, sadness and fear are messages to inform your life and how you want to be living. Therapy can help you decipher these feelings and get unstuck.
Before starting my private practice, I worked for several years as a middle and elementary school social worker. I hold a Masters degree in Social Work from Texas State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Texas A&M University. I continuously seek out opportunities to learn and grow so that I can provide the best service to you.
I am a mother of two, native Austinite, and coffee aficionado (read addict). I love walking my dogs and speaking Spanish as often as I can.
