Hello, I'm Dr. Toni Ann Serpe, a licensed clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience. I work with adolescents, teens, and adults of all ages, offering therapy that is tailored to each client's unique needs.
I offer a safe, respectful, nonjudgmental space where you can talk openly about what’s on your mind. I see therapy as a partnership, with your goals, values, and voice guiding our work. I tailor sessions to your needs using evidence-based tools, and I may suggest simple between-session practices to help you build insight, resilience, and lasting change.
I’m a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 17 years of experience supporting adolescents, adults, and older adults on their mental health journeys.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and empowering. I believe that understanding yourself is the foundation of healing, and I focus on giving my clients practical tools, education, and guidance they can use every day—not just during sessions.
In our first session, I take the time to truly listen and understand your story, your goals, and the challenges you’re facing. Together, we’ll create a personalized and realistic treatment plan designed to support your growth, emotional well-being, and long-term success.
I am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that helps you feel seen, supported, and equipped to move forward. My goal is to help you build confidence, develop lasting skills, and become the strongest version of yourself—one step at a time.

Hi there! I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with the masters degree from John Jay College of criminal justice in forensic mental health counseling . I have experience working with adolescents and adults in various settings including school, outpatient and inpatient clinics and programs. I specialize in helping clients navigate challenges related to anxiety, substance use, and trauma. With extensive experience in trauma counseling, I understand the deep and lasting impact trauma can have, and I bring compassion and skill to guiding clients through recovery at their own pace.
I work with high achieving, type A women. Together, you and I will create ways to stop being a people pleaser, have more time for yourself, find balance instead of burnout, feel joy, and create joy for yourself and those around you. Get rid of the guilt and the exhaustion from focusing on everyone but yourself. Learn what makes you happy! What makes you thrive! Learn holistic, self-care that makes you feel amazing.
I’ve been working with women, children and families for over 15 years in individual counseling, group settings, and program development. My expertise lies in helping people understand their own emotional experience, to use words not violence, to cope, to reduce impulsive and compulsive behavior, to advocate for themselves.
I believe to live fully, we must feel. Intensely. Viscerally. Freely. To feel pride and pain, joy and frustration. To taste the freedoms of life, as well as its restraints. To reconcile thoughts, actions and emotions that are often at odds. To square all of this with culture, beliefs, and history. To live fully is when a sense of equity, equality and balance is awakened. To live fully is to gain perspective and know that you can weather all of it, and not be overcome by these complexities, but learn to integrate them, for a full life.
Taking steps toward mental wellness can feel daunting, but I would love to work alongside you to help you achieve your goals. My aim is to create a warm, safe therapeutic environment where you feel comfortable exploring your deepest thoughts and vulnerabilities — at whatever pace feels right for you.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of New York, Colorado, and New Jersey, I've had the opportunity to work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families in various settings.
