Lindsey Payton has been working in mental health since 2012. During her work in the therapeutic field, she has found her passion for helping those heal from traumatic events that impact how they view themselves or show up in their relationships. She enjoys working with those on a deeper personal level, as well as couples working through finding their connection.
I received my BS in Psychology and my MS in Clinical Counseling Psychology. I have a passion for helping people gain skills to endure, overcome, ant thrive. I fell in love with all things psychology at a young age and have gained a great many life experiences that have taught me a deep level of empathy and understanding.
Mental health counseling is a form of help that can be tailored to meet the diverse needs of many individuals. Some mental health professionals, including me, intentionally incorporate spiritual or religious elements into their therapeutic practices. I do so because I primarily serve a Christian community, because my clients also adhere to religious principles in their own lives, and I subscribe to the belief that people experiencing distress can especially benefit from the help of God and spiritual empowerment.
Hi, I'm Lathosha, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years of experience in social work, including 25 years as a psychotherapist. I believe prioritizing mental health is key to happiness and healing. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of supporting youth, adults, and families through various life challenges. My skills, knowledge, and personal experiences help me guide clients through complex situations and find balance. I specialize in helping teenagers and adults overcome struggles with depression, anxiety, anger, family conflict, relationship issues, and self-esteem.
I believe that healing and growth happen within a trusting therapeutic relationship. Clients often describe me as compassionate, approachable, and genuine. I strive to create an environment where you feel safe to share openly, ask questions, and explore difficult emotions without fear of judgment.
While I offer support and validation, I also believe in helping clients challenge patterns, beliefs, and behaviors that may no longer be serving them. Therapy is not about being "fixed"; it's about understanding yourself more deeply, developing effective coping skills, and creating a life that feels more aligned with your values and goals.
I provide trauma-informed, attachment-focused therapy for adults. Many relational struggles are not character flaws. They are adaptations- ways you learned to survive, stay connected, or protect yourself. Together, we slow down enough to understand those adaptations and gently shift what no longer serves you. This work is intentional. It requires honesty, curiosity, and a willingness to look beneath the surface. And it creates lasting change.
I've been working with individuals and families for about 3 years. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in Texas, and I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Tarleton State University. I have a good understanding of neurodivergent needs in both adolescents and adults, and I’ve also helped people manage mood disorders, anxiety, and self-harm. As a proud member of the LGBTQI+ community, I bring my personal experience and insights to my work with queer clients.
I’m a licensed clinical social worker who works with adults around anxiety, mood concerns, relationships, and feeling stuck in patterns that don’t seem to change. I care a lot about creating a real, human connection in therapy—not just giving advice or tools. My style is warm and collaborative, but also honest and thoughtful. I believe therapy works best when support and personal responsibility go hand in hand.
My practice utilizes a blend of compassionate care and practical life coaching, helping individuals and couples unearth their authentic selves, cultivate healthy relationships, and foster emotional intelligence. I focus on guiding clients toward personal growth, self-awareness, and creating a balanced, fulfilling life.
