Hi, my name is Kristine and I provide individual and couples therapy via telehealth services. I obtained my Marriage and Family Therapy degree in 2016 from Syracuse University. I work from a systemic and trauma informed lens and I am trained in EMDR.
I often work with clients dealing with anxiety, grief, feelings of stuckness or dissatisfaction, and other issues that may require new ways of approaching themselves, others, and the world in which they live.
Hi! my name is Kelly Albright, LCSW. I have my undergraduate degree in Psychology from SUNY Oswego and my MSW from Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. I have experience working with children and families as well as adults of all ages. I love working with college students and young adults, particularly those with ADHD, Anxiety, and OCD. I also enjoy working with my clients through life transitions and relationship challenges.
I have experience working with adults through all stages of life from later adolescence through older adulthood to cope with various life struggles including depression, anxiety, family struggles, stress, life transitions, and co-occurring psychiatric disorders. I also specialize in working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
My work centers women and queer adults who wish to soften after life has tried to harden them. I specialize in working with folks who are:
I am a queer, gender non-conforming person. I use they/she/he pronouns. I’m Puerto Rican & Italian and I identify as mixed race. That identity affords me a whole lot, while also leaving me feeling quite lost at times. I move through the world in a body that has chronic illness and is dynamically disabled. I think it’s important to take these experiences and translate them into my work when appropriate. I am not affiliated with any religious institution, though I did grow up Catholic. I live by my principles, and am deeply passionate about social justice, food, culture, and sweatpants.
Both in clinical settings and in my personal life, I have been described as principled, observant, quick witted, dedicated, soft, direct, whimsical, rebellious, and genuine.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 40 years of clinical experience. My career has been dedicated to serving marginalized communities and individuals grappling with co-occurring disorders, depression, and anxiety. I am a Big Black Beautiful Bohemian Bougie Buddhist Butch, and I bring that entire authentic self to our work. I believe in talk therapy as a tool for political and personal warfare—an act of self-preservation that allows you to thrive despite societal obstacles.
