I am a licensed clinical social worker, clinical supervisor, and psychotherapist with over 25 years of experience helping individuals navigate trauma, emotional distress, and life transitions.
My career has included work in schools, outpatient counseling centers, and hospital settings, where I supported individuals facing mood disorders, addiction, and psychosis. I’ve worked with clients across the lifespan—from young children to older adults—and bring a broad, real-world perspective to my practice.
As a certified trainer in trauma-informed care, I use practical, effective tools to help you better understand your emotional responses, regulate stress, and feel more grounded. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your specific needs. I draw from a range of therapeutic techniques to help you gain insight, shift patterns, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Clients often tell me that our work together helps them feel less overwhelmed, more self-aware, and better able to cope with life’s challenges. I strive to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and comfortable being yourself.
Some of the feedback that I received from clients are:
"You give me a perspective so I don’t get stuck and I realize I don’t have to solve it all at once
"You have forever affected how I look at things in a positive way"
"You changed how I look at things. I know I can do it, so I achieve it. The re-parenting thing gives me a way to understand people and myself."
"You help people be comfortable in their own skin."
I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience providing behavioral health treatment services across medical, inpatient, outpatient, and insurance-based settings.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and structured, grounded in evidence-based practices while remaining responsive to each client’s unique cultural, emotional, and life context.
Clients often describe my style as warm, supportive, and direct. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space while also helping clients set realistic goals and move toward meaningful change.
I work well with adults seeking support for emotional well-being, coping skills, and improved quality of life.
Making sure you have a personalized, meaningful experience in therapy is very important to me. Let's find your voice and let's help you into a better spot so you can feel good about life. I have been in practice since 2003 working across many different settings. Through our initial discussions we will explore what may be underlying your current concerns and customize therapy so that your experience is meaningful. If you've ever felt like your previous therapists "just sat there and nodded", you won't have that experience here. I ask lots of questions and will keep you engaged throughout our time together.
I am passionate about helping people heal, grow, and feel more at home in their own lives. My style is warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative.
I have a Master’s in Criminal Justice and a Master’s in Clinical Counseling Psychology, and have spent over 20 years supporting individuals through mental health crises, trauma, and life transitions. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) and I genuinely love what I do.
My career has been dedicated to working with some of the most overlooked populations including justice-involved individuals, those navigating reentry, and people in the midst of life’s most difficult moments. My background spans clinical counseling, crisis intervention, and correctional settings, giving me a uniquely grounded perspective on what healing actually requires.
This is a space where all parts of your story are welcome, and where we work together toward the version of yourself you want to become.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I provide a compassionate, supportive space where individuals, couples, and families can explore challenges, build insight, and create lasting change.
I graduated from The College of New Jersey with a post Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I also graduated from Lincoln University with a graduate degree in Human Services. I have worked in the mental health field for over 20 years in a multitude of settings, including working with youth, teens, couples and families.
