I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Colorado. I graduated from Colorado Mesa University in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and went on to complete my master’s degree in in mental health counseling at Arizona State University. In 2017, I received my Ph.D. in counselor education from the University of Central Florida
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 12 years of experience in the social work field. I specialize in supporting people who struggle with addiction and their loved ones. I worked at CeDAR ( Center for Dependency, Addiction and Rehabilitation) in the inpatient setting. I ran the family program in addition to working closely with the patients who struggled with addiction. I have supported many people who struggle with depression, anxiety and grief and loss.
Additionally, I enjoy supporting parents, as parenthood is one of the most important and, at times, difficult journey we go through in adulthood. I am well versed in the Parenting with Love and Logic curriculum and have shared it with hundreds of families over the years.
I believe therapy works best when clients feel genuinely seen, heard and understood. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they navigate challenges, discover and build upon their strengths and create the life they want to live.
I bring warmth, humor, and clear guidance to therapy. Cognitive techniques help uncover how thoughts shape emotions and actions, while mindfulness fosters calm and focus. We’ll also explore your values to guide our work. Humor keeps things light, and directness ensures we stay on track. Together, we’ll work toward lasting growth and confidence.I earned my Master’s in Counseling from Wake Forest University.
Hello and welcome!
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with over 25 years of counseling experience. I am a firm believer that with support and guidance, we can find all the answers within ourselves.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Indiana and Colorado, and I have been working in mental health since 2014. I have a bachelors degree in Psychology from Indiana University and a masters degree in Social Work from the University of Denver. I was born and raised in southern Indiana but spent 7 years in Colorado where I obtained my masters and provided psychotherapy for children, teens, families and adults. I returned to Evansville in 2023 to be close to family again.
I enjoy working with a variety of people who have diverse lifestyles and cultural backgrounds. My clients find me to be compassionate, supportive, and challenging when needed. I believe in building on your strengths to help you find wellness and overcome any obstacles that hold you back from achieving your life goals.
I believe that humans should ideally be unfolding and growing throughout their lifetime. This means embracing change, especially when life gets difficult and we feel stuck, dissatisfied, or overwhelmed. Change is a journey with ups and downs. Personally, I believe we all struggle with challenges at different times in our life and it's the courageous who seek help.
