With over 10 years of experience working with youth and families in the mental health field, I specialize in supporting teens and young adults as they navigate anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I also bring a unique understanding of the pressures and experiences of student-athletes. I recognize the mental and emotional demands that come with striving for success—both on and off the field. Whether you're navigating performance anxiety, identity beyond sport, injury recovery, or balancing academics and athletics, I’m here to support your full journey, not just your performance.
Hey hey hey, I’m Ariel Wilson Gbenedio, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, transformational speaker, and author dedicated to helping people heal, grow, and step into their power.
I have nearly a decade of experience in the mental health field, working across a wide range of settings including crisis residential treatment, outpatient care, and program development. I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. My work is rooted in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care—blended with a deeply human, compassionate approach.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California and have served in both clinical and leadership roles, including Clinical Director. Throughout my career, I’ve been passionate about creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and safe enough to do the real work of healing.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, empowering, and honest. I believe healing isn’t about “fixing” you—because you are not broken. It’s about understanding your story, shifting limiting beliefs, and helping you build a life that feels aligned, fulfilling, and authentic. I specialize in working with high-achieving women, individuals struggling with self-worth, trauma recovery, and those feeling stuck in cycles that no longer serve them.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or ready for something more in your life, you don’t have to navigate it alone. My goal is to help you develop the insight, tools, and confidence to create lasting change—and to remind you of the strength that already exists within you.
I have been working as a therapist for the past 40 years in a variety of settings and contexts. Much of my experience has focused on supporting children, adolescents, and their families through emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. I spent 18 years working in a high school setting and have also worked with a range of nonprofit agencies throughout my career, giving me extensive experience supporting individuals and families from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
I approach therapy as a partnership and strive to support clients in working through whatever challenges they may be facing with compassion, honesty, and understanding. I believe that healing happens through connection, trust, and feeling genuinely supported. I also believe humor is an essential part of the healing process, and when appropriate, I like to bring warmth and lightness into the work we do together.
I specialize in medication management for a variety of mental health conditions. I have over 19 years of experience in nursing and over a decade of experience in nutrition. I like to look at the whole person and approach ways to improve your symptoms. I am here to support you in your mental health.
Hey there! I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and I really enjoy working with BIPOC adults a therapist. I have worked across various settings -- from outpatient therapy, community mental health, and residential treatment. I am experienced with providing telehealth psychotherapy services to diverse individuals, couples, and families. You can learn more about me at therapywithpriyanka.com. I am available for sessions on weekdays during business hours, except for Wednesday. My availability on a particular day can change on a weeks-to-basis.
A core priority in my work is helping clients reclaim the power of their voice. Therapy is most meaningful as a collaborative process where you are not only heard, but truly attempted to be known. As an Iranian American therapist, I understand the richness and complexity of holding multiple cultural identities. I especially enjoy supporting Highly Sensitive People (HSPs), as well working with teenagers and adults navigating identity formation, relationships, and the often tender process of growing into themselves
If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward, you don't have to figure it out alone.
I help adults work through anxiety, ADHD, depression, and the stress of big life transitions so you can move forward with more clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of direction.
I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with over a decade of clinical experience, and I bring a calm, grounded presence to the work.
My background spans trauma-informed care, support for college students building self-advocacy and success strategies (especially those with learning differences), and extensive work with the military community — including wounded warriors and their families.
Whether you're navigating a career or life change, managing attention or focus challenges, working through anxiety or depression, or facing relationship stress, I offer a safe, collaborative space where real growth is possible.
Clients often describe me as warm, real, non-judgmental, and direct in a supportive way. I'm LGBTQIA+ affirming and welcome people from all backgrounds with a spirit of inclusion and care.
